Seminar: Physics

Speaker: Marvin Kemple Location: LD 010

Evolving with Spin-1/2

Aspects of a 40-year research career at IUPUI (and a little before that) will be reviewed. An aim of the presentation will be to highlight many of the colleagues with whom I have had the pleasure of working. Brief details of a few of the projects will be given, mostly those with a biophysical bent. As implied by the title, the focus will be on two-level paramagnetic species. Results of some EPR, electron paramagnetic resonance, and NMR, nuclear magnetic resonance analyses will be expounded upon. In addition, reference will be made to a couple of deviations from the primary research trajectory.
