Time Invariant PT-Product and Phase Locking
in PT-Symmetric Systems

Abstract:

Following the discovery of PT-symmetric Hamiltonians, the research has progressed along two non-overlapping lines in characterizing the constants of motion of open systems. In my talk, I will show that a combination of the two approaches, deep in the PT-broken state, leads to phase locking phenomenon independently of the initial state. Furthermore, I will present an analytical solution for all time invariants of broad class of PT-symmetric Hamiltonians followed by result of simulation of the quantum dynamics of PT-symmetric qudit across a fourth order exceptional point.
