Assistant Professor

I'm a theoretical physicist working at the interface of condensed matter, atomic physics, and quantum optics. In general, I'm interested in quantum and classical nonequilibrium physics with cold atoms and solid-state qubits, including:

- Nonequilibrium magnetism
- Topological phase transitions
- Non-Hermitian phase transitions
- Quantum nonlinear dynamics
- Entanglement and spin squeezing
- Implementation of the above using atomic or solid-state systems

Previously, I was an ITAMP Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard. I got my PhD and BS in physics at Caltech.
